Extra stiff African bass firmly cemented into a metal cap. Reinforced with a steel wire band. African bass is a stiff natural fiber that has been used for hundreds of years as sweeping fiber. Changes on the African continent and the advent of plastic fiber have dimimished the use traditional fibers like bass or broom corn. They are still some of the best renewable sweeping fibers.
